A native Californian, Ronene came back to the North Bay in 1997 after working the corporate scene in New York City, London and Santa Fe. Her first job in wine country was working for a marketing firm that specialized in luxury wine brands (one of them being CONSTANT).
Ronene gained valuable hands on experience at the first winery she worked for and after 7 years with them was named general manager. In 2012 Ronene left the winery to branch out as a consultant for other low production, high quality, wineries. Serendipity called and in almost a full circle, she landed at CONSTANT Diamond Mountain Vineyard®.
Director of Membership
Julie Elkeshen joined the CONSTANT family in 2013 bringing with her over 20 years’ hospitality experience. Her family have been Calistogans since the mid-1850s and her children are now the 6th generation to live in the Napa Valley.
Julie strives to make the CONSTANT Diamond Mountain Vineyard® feel like home for our members and believes a visit to the top of the mountain should be an unforgettable experience.
Director of Vines & Wines
José Antonio Calderon was born in the small town of El Timbinal, Guanajuato, Mexico, where his family raised cattle and farmed corn. He moved to California in 1991 when he was seven-years-old. He grew up in St. Helena, the heart of the Napa Valley. He is a graduate of California State University, where he studied Viticulture and Enology. In 2005 he worked his first vintage at Quintessa Winery in Rutherford, CA. He has since added stints at Fisher Vineyards, Ledson Winery and Vineyards as well as Chambers and Chambers Wine Merchants.
José Antonio began working at CONSTANT prior to the 2013 harvest, and has since used his experience and determination to interpret and elevate the qualities that the Diamond Mountain District has to offer. He believes each wine is an honest portrayal of the distinct characteristics that each vintage brings, whether it be tiny parcels of hand selected single vineyard blocks, or larger more complex blends. He is a “hands-on” winemaker and vineyard manager from vine to bottle.
