CONSTANT Diamond Mountain Vineyard® may be the highest (2121’), oldest (1895) vineyard, and smallest winery in the Napa Valley. Our location here at the top of the Diamond Mountain District appellation is, perhaps, one of the best places in the world to grow Bordeaux varietals and is unequivocally, the most beautiful and romantic.
After a tasting the first three vintages (1995, 1996, 1997) from Constant Diamond Mountain Vineyard, James Laube commented in January 1999 issue of The Wine Spectator “A new can’t miss cabernet… It reminds me of the first time I tasted Dalla Valle, Bryant Family, Harlan Estate or Screaming Eagle…this vineyard is able to produce stunning wines on a consistent basis.”
“With the assistance from wine making consultant Paul Hobbs, the Constant’s have gone from strength to strength… Fred and Mary Constant’s vineyard which straddles the Napa/Sonoma county line high on Diamond Mountain is one of the most beautiful sites in an area known for spectacular vistas.” ~ R Parker, The Wine Advocate, December 2010
